Job Description

Responsible for all personnel planning
Enforce workplace safety standards among Production personnel.
Ensure that personnel understand and maintain quality standards, outlined by company policy and customer specifications.
Conduct performance reviews and appraisals for Production personnel.
Provide and coordinate on-the-job training for Production personnel.
Coordinate with the Human Resources Specialist to issue disciplinary actions to Production personnel.
Cooperate with Customer Service Representative and Procurement Coordinator to plan production orders, and execute production order planning in SAS.
Monitor production process, to facilitate production planning goals.
Plan, schedule, monitor, and support maintenance activities in Production.
Support the Machine Operator in setting the production line.
Monitor and verify adherence to production specifications, performance parameters, and required machine settings.
Perform randomized quality inspections, to confirm adherence to specifications.
Facilitate the implementation of new products into production
Responsible for all quality monitoring systems, including the camera system and metal detection system.
Identify and implement improvements that will increase efficiency and reduce waste; including ERP system updates in production.
Ensure that all production processes fulfill safety, quality, and hygiene requirements.
Perform validation activities for any new or updated parts or equipment used in the production process.
Create and maintain instructions and checklists that are used to properly perform production activities.
Verify randomly selected entries in ERP System; to ensure that the correct fiber bales and auxiliary materials are booked for the corresponding order.
Responsible for reporting all results, issues, and status updates to the President.
Participation to provide production related information during customer audits

Working hours: 6am - 6pm

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a carded thermobond nonwoven production line.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical processes and automation systems.
Expertise in Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
Knowledge of safe work practices and OSHA standards.
Experience managing a budget.
Hands-on mentality.
Willing and able to obtain additional qualifications and training.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, ISO 9001:2015, Good Manufacturing Practices, Root Cause Analysis, and Kaizen, preferred.
