Job Description

Reports to: Customer Service Manager

General Purpose: Manage jobs from planning to delivery, serving as main point of contact between the customer and the factory providing excellence in customer service.

Essential Functions:
> Oversee projects from placement or orders to delivery of products.
> Perform overall project planning and scheduling to meet customer's requested delivery dates.
> Span a broad spectrum, covering all areas of project management like - Project Planning, Cost Management (ensure what we quoted is what we are providing), Time Management, Contract Administration, and overall
coordination with all departments.
> Update the schedule regularly and communicate project changes to all departments.
> Communicate with customers on a regular basis so projects flow through the system and into production.
> Keep project file updated.
> Process submittal packages, as required.
> Obtain color selection and drawings (or cut-list) from customer in time to meet the production schedule.
> Submit coil order requests to Purchasing Department.
> Coordinate special buyout items with Purchasing Department.
> Review details with customers.
> Review the Bill of Material, revise as needed, and release for production.
> Provide customer support on job site issues and shortage claims.
> Process warranties, as requested, once project is paid in full.
> Coordinate Weather tightness Warranties with Field Service Rep. and Sales Manager.
> Perform other related duties as assigned.

Working hours: Mon- Fri 8am to 5pm with some over time possible.

Skills:
Basic Requirements:
>-MS Word and Excel proficient.
>-Professional phone etiquette.
>-Business writing skills including letters, emails, etc.
>-Acute attention to detail and accuracy.
>-Sense of urgency and ownership of work product.
>-Must have strong mathematics skills, the ability to accurately convert and manipulate measurements, and read/interpret scaled materials.

Physical Requirements:
>-Able to sit for extended periods of time, walk, stand, climb, twist.
>-Must be able to lift at least 25Ibs.
>-Visual acuity, finger dexterity, color discernment.
>-Must possess professional phone etiquette and the ability to communicate over the phone.
>-Must possess business writing skills including letters, emails, etc.
>-Ability to wear prescribed personal protective equipment and appropriate clothing for plant access.
>-Occasionally work in conditions typical of a manufacturing environment, including noise, extreme temperatures, humidity, odors, dust, etc.
>-Effectively use a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and commonly used office software to complete necessary functions assigned.

Required education:
>-High school or equivalent

Required experience:
>-Product/project order management & coordination in a manufacturing environment preferred: 1 year
