Job Description

This person will identify specific customer contractual requirements and be responsible for the initiation and oversight of manufacturing readiness reviews and action plans. Under limited supervision, the person will review customer RFQs, contracts, and purchase orders for custom products primarily for, but not limited to, military/aerospace/aviation customers. This person will act as the primary factory liaison to Sales and Marketing as it relates to special projects, solicit any further clarification from the customers when necessary, and provide feedback to the organization as to the lead-times, risks, and progress of the orders.

Technical Job Functions:
- Reviews designated RFQs, contracts, and purchase orders for custom products and translates the requirements into product documentation for manufacturing.
- Identifies all specific requirements listed by the customer in RFQs, contracts and purchase orders.
- Initiates contact with the appropriate individuals to clarify all requirements, and, identifies usual requirements that may have been omitted.
- Initiates and oversees the manufacturing readiness review process by coordinating and leading the Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and Master Scheduling teams to define action plans and timelines that meet customers
expectations In a timely manner.
- Communicates to Sales and Marketing stakeholders the expected delivery lead-time, or communicates exceptions to requirements that cannot be fulfilled by the factory/supply chain in regards to process, testing, design and delivery of orders.
- Authorizes the acceptance of the custom orders and their entry into the ERP system.
- Facilitates coordination between departments to help ensure on-time delivery of products that meet quality standards, and alerts management when significant issues arise that may jeopardize the project plan.
- Monitors the performance of the defined schedules and will act as the primary liaison on these projects to factory management, Product Manager, Master Scheduler, Customer Service Representative and other key stakeholders.
- Plans projects with multiple technical components and timelines, and prepares and presents status reports for management.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position.

Authorities and Responsibilities:
- Assume other projects and responsibilities from time to time as directed.
- Regular and predictable attendance is presumed to be an essential function of all employment.
- Report directly to the Manager. Will work extensively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Purchasing and Quality Assurance personnel. May have contact with outside vendors and customers.
- Ideally would be able to interpret technical documentation related to product manufacturing and acceptability such as schematics; engineering drawings, customer controlled specifications, and military/industry standards.
- Exercises good judgment and decision making with regards to manufacturing capabilities.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

- Ability to satisfactorily complete and implement all OJT and required trainings.
- Ability to understand the organization structure, businesses and sites, and applying that knowledge to daily tasks, communications and assignments.
- Thorough knowledge of Cinch Connectivity sales order and contract review process.
- Basic knowledge of MRP or ERP systems.

- Ability to operate equipment and use tools and techniques effectively, efficiently and in accordance with ergonomic principles.
- Proficiency in software as required; ability to perform math calculations, measurement, analysis or reporting as directed.
- Ability to comply with Company policies and procedures.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing and assembly of RF, Microwave, and Optical connectors and cable products, with extensive knowledge of value added services.
- Good project management and organization skills.
- Ability to understand technical documentation and manufacturing processes and capabilities.

4-7 years

BA or BS degree in engineering or a related technical/manufacturing operations discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years? experience in a production environment with quality management systems (i.e. ISO-9001 and AS9100), and interface to technical areas.
3-5 years? experience with military, aerospace and aviation customers a plus.
Project management experience required.

Essential Physical Effort/Demands to Perform Job and Working Conditions
Strength: Lifts and/or carries, slides, relocates objects up to 5 lbs. regularly and lifts and/or carries, slides, relocates objects up to 25 lbs. intermittently.
Climbing or balancing: Maintains balance while moving about to all areas of factory facilities, potentially traversing slippery or uneven floors, moving onto and off rubber floor mats in all areas. Maintains balance while sitting,
standing, bending, twisting, and turning, stretching and stooping rarely.
Walking, stooping, kneeling, etc.: Moves about to all areas of facility as required. Bends, stretches, turns, stoops, stands, twists and crouches while performing job. May kneel to pick up and relocate containers. May sit for
prolonged periods of time regularly/intermittently.
Reaching, handling, fingering and/or feeling: Places and removes objects on desks or in drawers or cabinets. Picks up and puts down containers. Presses levers, uses mouse keyboard to enter data.
