Quality Associate

Job Description

Spherion Staffing is looking for a Quality Associate for a innovative company in Elkhart, IN!

Positions is Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm $14.50/hr

This position works with multiple departments ensuring policies and procedures are met and identifies solutions independently, while working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
-Supports and actively participates in the management system
-Inspection of purchased production product
-Interface with Purchasing, Production and Suppliers relative to the receipt of products
-Production support ensuring conformance
-Maintain, manage, track the Quality Quarantine Area
-Support problem solving activities
-Perform & support calibration system
-Data collection, reporting, and recording as required
-Contributions to improve internal product/processes
-Follow all requirements to support Company's Quality Objectives

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Skills:
-Attention to detail
-Basic computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, data management & email communication)
-Ability to analyze data
-Ability to read and understand print specifications
-Ability to use measuring equipment (lighting measurement, gauges, calipers & tape measure)

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
-Ability to lift 50lbs
-Basic ERP / Warehouse Systems experience
-1-3 years quality experience preferred
-1-3 years manufacturing experience
