A local manufacturing company in the Ormond Beach area is looking for someone like you to ensure products meet industry specifications and client requirements! As the Quality Control Inspector you will work in a manufacturing environment with responsibilities that include inspecting, testing, sampling, and sorting products/goods being manufactured, inspections of incoming materials and components, in process sub-assemblies, and finished products. You will apply a technical knowledge of all quality standards and testing equipment and conduct a range of testing, counting, identification and/or recording procedures to maintain departmental work flow.

Working hours: 2nd Shift

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Strong reading, writing and math skills

- Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume work load; self-motivated

- Dependable and reliable with good attendance record

- Dexterity and preciseness required to operate gauges and testing equipment

- Working knowledge of quality standards, testing/sampling plans and testing equipment or equivalent in work experience in similar job functions desired

- Available for overtime when requested

- Reviews protocols, qualification, and validation procedures documented by organization and follows these procedures. If a manufactured product does not meet quality specifications, the QA inspector investigates and reports production line failures to management.

- Establishes and records results on applicable documents and includes documents in device history record. Maintain records relating to released lots of final product for trace-ability.

- Reviews QC procedures for accuracy and completeness.

- Notifies the Quality Lab Supervisor when discrepancies are found.

- Follows specific procedures to reject non-conforming product. Report and communicate failures and discrepancies for disposition by management.

- Inspects incoming materials and components, in process sub-assemblies, and finished products per applicable QC procedures.

- Performs assigned routine tests on incoming materials and components, in process sub-assemblies, and finished products where results are compared with company quality standards.
