Job Description

The Quality Inspector will work in a manufacturing environment with responsibilities that include inspecting, testing, sampling, and sorting products/goods being manufactured, inspections of incoming materials and components, in process sub-assemblies, and finished products.The QA inspector will condust a range of testing, counting, identification and/or recording procedures to maintain departmental work flow.

- Must be available for overtime when requested
- Reviews protocols, qualification, and validation procedures documented by organization and follows these procedures. If a manufactured product does not meet quality specifications, the QA inspector investigates and reports production line failures to management.
- Establishes and records results on applicable documents and includes documents in device history record. Maintain records relating to released lots of final product for trace-ability.
- Reviews QC procedures for accuracy and completeness.
- Notifies the Quality Lab Supervisor when discrepancies are found.
- Follows specific procedures to reject non-conforming product. Report and communicate failures and discrepancies for disposition by management.
- Inspects incoming materials and components, in process sub-assemblies, and finished products per applicable QC procedures.
- Performs assigned routine tests on incoming materials and components, in process sub-assemblies, and finished products where results are compared with company quality standards.

Working hours: 2:00 PM - 1:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)

- Excellent Math skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Excellent reading and writing skills

High School

0-1 years

- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of Manufacturing experience in a quality inspector role
- Dexterity and preciseness required to operate gauges and testing equipment
- Ability to set priorities and manage a high volume work load; self motivated with flexibility to accomodate changing needs and requirements
- Must be dependable and reliable
