Job Description

We are searching for Quality Coordinators for our client in Belvidere, IL.These are Temp-To-Hire opportunities with benefit potential based on overall job performance and attendance.The company culture and environment is very inviting and extremely team orientated. We are looking for candidates who have previous Quality Coordinator/Technician background that includes some engineering experience in the auto sector as well. Training will be provided at the facility. As your staffing local right here in Rockford, we will set you up to be successful and support you throughout the program:

* $18.50 to $19.00/HR to start
* Auto sector experience required
* Understanding of the QS9000 and ISO/TS16942 quality systems required
* APQP Experience Preferred
* 40-hours per week + mandatory overtime

Responsibilities:
The Quality Coordinator is an an active member of the plant support staff. They will serve as the subject matter expert on his or her products and findings that help support every department for the duration of each program.

* Monitor and support the facility metrics. Will lead improvement projects and teams into systems and processes at the required facility levels.
* Will lead all quality activities through advanced product quality planning and during launches to diagnose, prevent and correct any failures during the launch processes.
* Lead all quality reads across all other related assembly plants.
* Manage all open quality issues via the CAS database
* Maintain Engineering Change Process
* Maintain Corrective Action Systems
* Maintain torque verification logs and manage FTTQ

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Access and Excel spreadsheet capabilities.
* Understand customer specific, regulatory and statutory requirements - and apply those as internal quality requirements.
* Perform local plant control audits
* Propose improvements to the quality policies and quality systems
* Excellent communication skills
* Possess the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Must possess the ability to understand or comprehend written and/or oral instructions throughout the course of the day
* Must possess a positive attitude and a team-orientated approach to getting work done
* Must be detail-orientated to ensure on demand deadlines are met

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and at least 2-years in manufacturing, assembly environments.
* Working knowledge of the APQP process including PFMEA and control plans.
* Trained in IATF 1649 2016 Quality Systems preferred
* HS diploma required
* A background check is required
* A drug test is required
