Job Description

The quality engineer is the one who has the responsibility to make sure that every function and operation in a work place occurs in control to provide consistent output within specification. Duties include evaluating performance of machines, people, methods, and engineering controls, along with customer service and support.

Responsibilities:
??? The main responsibility is to ensure the quality standards are achieved in the products produced and provided by the company.
??? Monitor the production, processes and equipment to achieve the quality specifications.
??? Take the lead in providing containment and resolution to discrepancies and complaints.
??? Responsibility for the procedures used in performing quality checks.
??? Formulate and enforce the quality control standards.
??? Improving the quality and consistency of the work and products.
??? Provide training to the employees.
??? Allocate responsibilities and supervise the Quality Control department.
??? Record and present all the quality test & inspection results to management.

Working hours: 7:30 AM - 6:25 PM (Various Shifts Available)

-Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability.
-Be able to make logical assessments and decisions under stressful circumstances.
-High organization and documentation skills for quick retention.
-Have knowledge regarding quality standards, and customer expectations.
-Knowledge and understanding of various metals and associated manufacturing processes.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills to discuss topics clearly.
-Efficient in computer use and knowledge.
-Lifting up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
-Able and willing to travel by auto or by plane, with extended stays.

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
??? A Bachelor???s degree in engineering or engineering technology is preferred.
??? Required experience with PPAP documentation, 8D problem solving, deviations, quality audits and assessing engineering drawings with GD&T.
??? Ability to apply simple mechanics and evaluate manufacturing processes.
??? Experience using inspection tools and methods in a quality related field or scope of assignment.
