Job Description

QC Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and verifying in-process and completed Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA's) to ensure that customer specifications/requirements are met.

? Perform Dimensional (5%), and Visual (95%) Inspection checks Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA's).
? Inspect PCBA?s at various points in the manufacturing process to ensure that all quality requirements are adhered to.
? Using magnification aids and stereo-microscope inspect populated PCBA's and identify component misplacement and solder defects or any other defects to IPC-A-610 (current revision) standards.
? Examine unit for physical defects and quality of workmanship for conformity to IPC standards.
? Using Bill of Material and drawing assembly notes, verify that assembly is built correctly.
? Make accept/reject decisions on product being inspected.
? Perform 1st Article, in-process and final PCBA inspection.
? Verify documentation for correct revisions level prior to use.
? Deliver accepted finished goods to shipping or stockroom.
? Complete various forms and documentation as related to reporting inspection results.
? Enter inspected material status and time information into company M2M, ERP computer system.
? Use computer to access and print applicable job traveler documentation.
? Performs other related duties as required.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Three years related PCB inspection experience or 1 year experience with IPC-A-610 certification preferred.
Good English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors and managers as needed.
Knowledge of standard inspection tools/equipment for PCB's (Dial Caliper, Pull Tester, Pin Gages).
Knowledge and use of standard hand tools (Screwdrivers, Wrenches, Nut Drivers, etc-).
Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 PCB inspection practices.
Differentiate between accept and defect conditions using IPC-A-610 as the PCB inspection standard.
Ability to follow procedures and maintain quality of products at all time.

High School

1-4 years

Previous knowledge of mechanical, thru-hole, surface mount, electronic component identification preferred
Ability to interface and work well with others, take direction from supervision and be adaptable to changes.
Recognize documentation discrepancies and refer to immediate supervisor.
Prior work experience in a ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 environment preferred
