Job Description

Our client is a Biotechnology Company headquartered in Madison WI, with branches throughout the world. They manufacture products for life science research, drug discovery, forensics, and diagnostics. Their products are used by life scientists who are asking fundamental questions about biological processes as well as by scientists who are applying scientific knowledge to diagnose and treat diseases, discover new therapeutics, and use genetics and DNA testing for human identification, food, and water quality testing and many other applications. This position will ensure timely receipt, safe and efficient recording, handling, and Receiving of materials throughout our clients campus warehouses.

This is a 6 month project position, the hours are Mon/Tues/Weds 6:00 am - 6:00 pm for 6 weeks training, then will move to 3rd shift - 6:00 pm - 2:30 am, Mon-Fri.
This position is also eligible for a $500 bi-weekly bonus!

- Receive, deliver and initiate transfer of materials between warehouses to ensure materials reach intended recipients on time.
- Maintain warehouse inventory records.
- Manage/maintain warehouses keeping them in a clean and orderly condition.
- Operate equipment proficiently and safely.
- Able to adjust to the changing needs and demands of the department as communicated by Supervisor.
- Understand and comply with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business.
- Participate in the annual physical inventory.
- Take on special assignments as requested.

Working hours: 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM

- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Ability to drive a delivery vehicle or a forklift.

High School

0-1 years

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work with a computer in an interactive manner for extended periods of time.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to move and lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to regularly use hands and arms to reach for objects.
- Ability to climb ladders throughout the day.
- Capable of standing and moving for extended periods of time during the day.
