Job Description

Spherion Staffing in Conroe is looking for a BILINGUAL Front Desk/Candidate Services Receptionist. To provide a positive experience for all candidates. The Receptionist/Candidate Services person will need to be bilingual and greet everyone at the door and on the phone with a smile. He/she will control the candidate calendar and candidate flow/process in the office. The candidate flow/process involves the following steps:

Answering the phones and directing the calls to the appropriate person
Greet all individuals with a smile and welcoming attitude
New (or previous) candidate registration paperwork; application/applicant signature forms
Perform background checks and Work Number verifications on all applicants
Ensure all appropriate documentation has been uploaded to employee profile
Start On-boarding process and insure paperwork is completed
initiate Safety Video and Quiz when necessary
Drug Screen
Send E-Forms
Check I-9 documents are valid & process in E-Verify

Filing of all applicable candidate paperwork
Inventory management of forms and supplies needed for front desk duties
Participation in morning meetings and Friday staff meetings

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Skilled in the use of MS Office programs and ability to learn in-office HRIS software
Skilled in the use of general office equipment
Typing speed adequate for successful and timely completion of job duties
Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of candidates and clients utilizing diplomacy and tact
Ability to maintain confidentiality of private and sensitive information
Ability to prioritize a number of tasks based on importance and multitask as necessary
Ability to answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate individual and/or take clear and accurate messages as necessary
Ability to work well under pressure
Good organizational skills
Good time management skills
