Job Description

Spherion Staffing is now hiring for a Receptionist/Sales Support position for a real estate office in the Macon area supporting real estate agents; must be able to handle multiple line switchboard. Spherion Staffing offers a full line of Vision, Health, and Dental.

- Operating multi-line switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls,
- Retrieving messages from voicemail and forwarding to appropriate personnel.
- Greeting clients/guests entering in a friendly and professional manner, determining nature and purpose of visit and directing them to specific destinations
- Typing letters and documents,
- Signing for packages, sorting and distributing mail; documents; forms; and filing,
- Handling walk-in or mailed payments in accordance with company policies and procedures,
- Validate parking tickets
-Maintain polished and professional reception area at all times,
- Entering/updating exclusive listings into LoopNet, Commercial Council, Atlanta Commercial Board, SIOR, etc. Updating and keeping listing information current,
-Utilize various research platforms and database websites,
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or requested.

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

-2+ years' experience in a receptionist role with heavy phone/multiple line experience
- Customer Service experience / personality
- Reliable and punctual
- Experience using Microsoft office including Word, Outlook, Excel and Publisher
-Must be able to operate basic office machines, i.e., copier, fax, printer, etc.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail oriented work ethic with ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities
- Must be a positive presence, enthusiastic, energetic, approachable, and excited to be the face of the office
- Proofread and edit correspondence
- Help support sales and marketing team with misc. projects as needed

High School

-Manage office switchboard, answering calls quickly, courteously and professionally, connecting people as require
- Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to the required standard. Is comfortable taking on additional responsibility when required
- Self-starters who are able to multi-task, and work under minimum supervision
- Can switch readily between tasks, can manage a variety of tasks effectively and simultaneously, and responds positively to change
- Social Media skills preferred
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
