Job Description

- Administration of all the Company's insurance claims and ensures timely reporting to insurance carrier.
- Assists in establishing corporate policies and procedures for reporting and handling claims.
- Conducts risk control assessments which involves identifying, describing, analyzing, and estimating the risks affecting the company. Utilizes skills to recommend risk control methods to minimize risks.
- Investigates property damage claims and losses, submits timely reports to insurance company claims administrator and assists in property claims management.
- Evaluates loss exposures and makes recommendations to Compliance Department Manager on ways to reduce risk.
- Reviews and becomes familiar with insurance policies.
- Obtains certificates of insurance from all vendors and contractors to protect the Company's assets.
- Ensures MVR's for all drivers of Company vehicles are annually obtained, reviewed, and maintained on file.
- Provides support, education and training to Company employees to build risk awareness.
- Maintains accurate records and details of all claims.
- Identifies exposures and assesses liability through evaluation of claim loss statistics and trends.
- Provide departmental loss statements for worker's compensation, general liability and auto losses to Compliance Department Manager as appropriate.
- Monitors proposed and new legislation pertaining to insurance and evaluates impact to the Company.

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM

--Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Relations, Safety or another related field.
--Three years if responsible professional experience in risk management, liability insurance (working in an insurance or legal office dealing with claims) and workers' compensation. Experience with data collection, analysis and preparation of written and oral reports preferred.
--Certificates of Risk Management (CRM), or Associate Risk Manager (ARM) preferred.
