Job Description

Manufacturer in Brooksville is seeking a Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning Manager to drive their site planning and materials management activities. This includes, but is not limited to production scheduling, materials movement, inventory and logistics within the site. Using your best judgement, influence, consulting and leading efforts to Identify, develop, and implement best practices for Materials, Planning, Forecasting, and Scheduling on time deliveries.

Our ideal candidate will have the experience and ability to effectively use personal judgement, influence, consulting and leadership skills to identify, develop and implement best practices for Materials, Planning, Forecasting, and Scheduling on time deliveries. In addition, be able to select, develop, coach, empower, and motivate direct reports to ensure development and growth within their roles and responsibilities, conducting performance reviews with feedback, holding them accountable to meet company standards and operational excellence.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Communicating changes to production schedule to various departments
- Developing and executing annual operating plan for site metrics, including: SIOP, Inventory and WIP
- Closely monitor inventory input and relief in order to meet AOP targets
- Support the Goal Deployment planing and execution process - leading change, establishing operational metrics/key indicators for process control, communication and performance improvement
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and process
- Develop & interpret operating plans, budgets, capital plans and financial statements
- Develop, execute and achieve tactical and strategical initiatives through active leadership to positively impact business plan, operating profits, practices, policies and procedures

Working hours: Full Time / Primarily Monday - Friday, seldom weekends as needed

Due to export restrictions, this position requires you to be a U.S. Citizen

- Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, Business (or related discipline) // MBA preferred*
- 7+ years' Management/Supervisory experience
- 10+ years' Supply Chain Management experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt and/or Lean certification preferred*
- APICS certification preferred*
- Microsoft Dynamics AX or other MRP/ERP systems preferred*

- Understanding of Contract Manufacturing business with knowledge of Defense / Areospace markets, as well as electronic and electronic device technology
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Possess conflict management skills and understand self-directed work teams
- Customer/Supplier relationship experience
