Job Description for SALES COORDINATOR, full-time career opportunity, temp to hire for a capital equipment manufacturing company.

A Sales Coordinator performs a wide range of tasks supporting the outside sales team providing quotes, pricing and credit terms.

Responsible for preparing sales contracts once orders are secured.

Candidate may also sell off the shelf, STANDARD catalog items to customers directly.

Interacts consistently and closely with the Planning department to accurately estimate date of delivery to Customers based on production and delivery schedules.

Sales Coordinator will be required to identify customer needs and supply accurate and efficient solutions, while maximizing the promotion and sale of products.

Extremely high professionalism in the oral and written word to speak and write effectively.

Candidate will be detail oriented, perfection driven and have the ability to professionally represent outside sales team and overall organization.

Person in role now is retiring after many years and the sooner we hire this person to have overlapped training opportunities to better.

This role will eventually become the subject matter expert and be able to provide valuable support and information on company's products and services.

Working hours: 8-5pm

Skills:
1.-Attendance, present at scheduled shift to perform essential functions.
2.-Interpersonal skills with the ability to discuss problems with tact and diplomacy, and resolve logistical requirements related to the projects.
3.-Prepare and update standardized communications.
4.-Ability to focus in a high traffic, many distractions work environment.

6.-Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
7.-Ability to work alone or with others and to interact with all levels of management.
8.-Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
9.-Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule format.
10.-Compiles lists of prospective customers; prospects, sales leads, based on info from media/advertising/internet sources etc.
11.-Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries, equipment and billing/invoicing


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


1. Proficiency with MSOffice (Word, Excel, Access) and Outlook
2. Familiarity with AutoCAD a plus by not a requirement
3. Previous exposure to MRP systems a plus
4. Ability to calculate figures and amounts with discounts, interest, commissions and percentages
5. Customer Services attitude, pleasant phone voice and clean/neat professional appearance
6. Bi-Lingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.

Occasional paid overtime
Role Conditions: 70% sitting, 30% standing, 15% kneeling, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling
Light Lifting 1-15lbs frequently, Medium lifting 16-25lbs occasionally
Carrying distance up to 50 feet frequently
Environment: Office with central heat and air
