Job Description

Territory Sales Representative covering the southern MN, northern IA, and western WI regions with a 5 week cycle period between visits.

Seeking independent, self-motivated, and service oriented candidate with 3+ years' sales experience to join a wholesaler/distributor of agricultural, industrial, material handling, and safety supplies and equipment. Experience or knowledge of the AG industry is a plus.

The company is a small, family-owned business that has remained successful through the years because of its dedication to provide excellent service and products, along with technical expertise to its customers. Products include Agricultural and Industrial MRO products, which include: Farm Equipment and Agricultural Supplies, Lawn & Garden, Industrial Tools, Hand Tools, Power Tools, Cutting Tools, Material Handling, Hydraulic Hose, High Pressure Hose, Safety & Environmental, Protective Clothing, Respiratory Protection, Fasteners, MRO Supplies and Conveyors.

Candidate will have home office and be responsible to cover a territory of Southern MN, Northern Iowa and SW Wisconsin. Company provides salary, cell phone, IPad and travel/overnight expenses. Overnight travel will be required at about 20%.

The ideal candidate is one that is self-motivated and hungry to succeed in a sales role One whom is excited to build relationships with new and existing customers. Sales experience with breaking into a new territory is a plus. Time management is key to success in planning sales visits and limiting travel expenses.

* * * Sales Bonus Structure: -When Sales Territory has made Quota, a bonus of .00375 (3/8 of 1%) will be paid on sales up to $1M and a bonus of .005 (1/2 of 1%) for sales over $1M. When sales meet or exceed quota, an additional bonus of $5K will be paid at year end. In addition to this, a quarter quota bonus will be paid quarterly on sales in excess of quota. A bonus of 10% will be paid on gross profit dollars on sales exceeding quota up to a total bonus of $10K on an annual basis.
