Job Description

Inside Sales/Counter Sales
Temp to Perm M-F 8-5 One hour lunch Business casual attire
Location in Port St. Lucie

Performs selling activities over the telephone and in person at the companys location.
Takes and follows up sales orders placed by customers.
Sources, negotiates and processes purchases of special order items.

Works with customers to offer alternatives/options and addresses their needs.
Resolves customer questions related to orders, deliveries and other matters, as needed.
Receives, researches, and answers customer inquiries and requests regarding accounts, products, rates and services offered, via telephone or mail.
Writes orders, mails catalogs, samples, price quotations, and similar data to customer, as required.
Has knowledge of product line, prices, delivery time, various marketing promotional services, and similar data.
Increases sales volume by actively seeking new orders from key customers.
Secures opportunities to quote on customer requirements and follows up on quotations submitted.
Works in a team environment with Outside Sales personnel to penetrate new accounts.
Receives information from Outside Sales personnel in monitoring progress and achievement of the Sales Plan.
Assists the Branch Manager in executing the marketing and sales initiatives to improve sales-business processes.
Monitors sales results and offers recommendation to increase productivity.
Submits weekly activity reports concerning customer-related matters for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships.
Provides lost business information periodically.
Complies and assures compliance with policies, procedures and product offerings.
Identifies and presents training needs to Management.

Working hours: 8am-5pm

Background check and drug screening required

-Self motivated, energetic, goal oriented, positive attitude, honest, dynamic presence, hard worker with a strong work ethic and a sense of urgency.
-Strong communication skills in addition to excellent interpersonal sales skills and persuasive skills.
-Ability to built strong relationships with new and existing clients.
-High School or equivalent experience.
-Knowledge of Plumbing, PVF and/or Utility markets preferred.
-2+ years Inside sales experience with strong closing skills.
-Proven customer relations skills.
-Ability to work independently, goal oriented.
-Job involves sitting and answering the telephone most of day.
-Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
-Computer literate, Eclipse experience optional.
