Job Description

A renowned and well- recognized company in the Monmouth County area is looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist with a positive and proactive attitude to join their team! This person will be working directly with vendors as well as customers to ensure proper and accurate accounts receivable records. This individual should be detail-oriented with a minimum of 3-5 years Accounts Receivable and Collection experience.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:
- Resolve discrepancies with vendors and build trustworthy and reliable relationships with internal and external customers
- Collect on overdue accounts
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies and deductions.
- Make copies of all checks, complete deposit slips and make bank deposits
- Prepare customer statements, bills and invoices, and reconcile expenses to the general ledger
- Ensure all invoices are paid within customer terms.
- Conduct account research and analysis
- Review AR aging to ensure compliance
- Educate customers on keeping their accounts current

Working hours: 8:30AM-5:00PM

REQUIREMENTS:
--Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
--Comfortable interacting with both vendors and customers
--Professional communication skills with the ability to resolve issues
--Ability to prioritize and multitask
--Experience with QuickBooks and eoStar preferred
