Job Description

Spherion currently has multiple openings for Senior Customer Service Representatives at a large Fortune 500 company in Duluth, MN. This is a long-term temporary position with full-time hours starting early September and going through the annual enrollment and open enrollment period. Pay is at $16 per hour with scheduled shifts Monday - Sunday 7:00am - 6:00pm. Overtime is infrequent, but may be mandatory during peak enrollment period. Overtime pay rate is $24 per hour for any hours worked over 40 hours in a week.

--Responsible for answering incoming calls from consumers with questions regarding insurance premium billing and enrollment
--Some outbound calls to follow-up with earlier phone conversations
--Must be able to multi task - taking inbound calls from consumers and researching issues over the phone
--Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards
--Must be a quick learner that is able to apply what was learned in training quickly to the live call environment
--Must have good communication and listening skills.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

--Must be familiar with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
--Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
--Willing to work and contribute in a team environment
--Basic math skills to calculate balances due and identify errors
--High level of accuracy
--High level of professionalism
--Ability to handle confidential information
--Ability to de-escalate an irritated called in a calm, professional, and compassionate manner

High School

1-4 years

--High school diploma or GED
--1 year of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems OR 1 year of experience in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties

--Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computer
--Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers.
