Senior Sourcing Manager

Job Description

Spherion Staffing is looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager to work with a local client in the Fargo area. This position entails the effective sourcing of components used in the manufacturing or sales of company products and maintains assigned accounts. You will partner with sources that provided quality, price, & timely delivery.

Salary $80-100k DOE

Responsibilities:
- Cost, Quality & Delivery Improvement -support supply chain to ensure adequate flow of material and achieve annual productive goals and metrics
- Supplier Management -strategic development of suppliers, their capabilities and changing markets
- New Product Development Support - ensure appropriate product launch plans are in place including after market
- Areas of Focus will be to support positive resolution of projects and issues, responsible for annual and indirect spend, and ability to train & mentor peers

Skills:
Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree
-Green Belt Certification & ISM preferred
-Must have proven ability to communicate (written & verbal) with everyone within an organization
-Practice good judgment & have leadership skills
-7-10 years' of experience in general sourcing
-Indirect sourcing with emphasis in MRO strongly preferred
-Ability to travel 10%-24%
