Job Description

We are seeking an energetic social media professional to join our team!  The role of Social Media Manager plays a pivotal role in our organization. This position will focus on the branding of all offices across our PA offices.  In accomplishing this, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for consistently presenting Spherion in the local markets through social media and job boards, using the tools provided and integrating new tools and technology where appropriate.  The Social Media Manager must maintain a professional demeanor including top-notch customer service skills at all times.

  • Work closely with the corporate Spherion brand to utilize software, calendar and strategies from a national level.
  • Cater content to reach a local audience
  • Grow a following on relevant platforms to establish relationships and trust with job-seekers, clients and the community using staff relationships with employees
  • Constantly follow and adapt social analytics, strategizing marketing plans to achieve new goals Analyze tools and technologies used for role to determine success rates and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage and oversee social content and communication
  • Administer, monitor, and adjust the access for the organization Assist in the oversight of the Work4 and Facebook Jobs
  • Buffer negative comments and reviews to reach a resolution (when possible) and ensuring staff is up to date with responding to messages
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Provide constructive feedback
  • Adhere to rules and regulations set forth in corporate branding requirements
  • Present to Senior Management
  • Train the Staffing Specialist/Recruiter role for understanding of processes and to support local offices in growth opportunities
  • Effectively use recruiting tools and technologies to actively source and engage potential employees.
  • Perform all other related administrative tasks as directed by Operations Manager or Management Team.
  • Participate in off-site (out of the normal retail staffing office) recruiting functions and job fairs in the local area.
  • Train and support the development of internal teams on recruiting tools and social media
  • Travel to other regional Spherion offices to lend assistance when necessary.
