Job Description

New Jersey based electronics manufacturer and a recipient of the 2020 NJ Top Workplaces Award, is seeking a Stockroom Clerk to join its dedicated world class manufacturing team. Our Clients designs and manufactures a broad range of high-power DC power products for markets such as electric vehicles, particle accelerators, solar, and national defense. The Stockroom Clerk will assist with inventory stock and managing inventory, including cycle counts, safety stock, dead stock, fill rates, and reconciliation coordination of all components. Provides basic support to Shipping/Receiving department. Forklift operation (as needed).

Performs picking function using mobile bar code scanning to make up necessary kits of electronic parts and ascertaining that all parts are available and accounted for in the kit.
Distributes stockroom materials in accordance with work orders.
Records the inventory of all stockroom items.
Conducts physical inventories on a routine schedule.
Verifies inventory records and corrects discrepancies.
Assists with replenishment to the warehouse from Assembly/Fulfillment.
Assists with general warehouse duties as directed by the Logistics Manager.
Reports defective materials or equipment to the Logistics Manager or trainer.
Assists with material handling, loads/unloads materials delivered, stores materials in assigned locations.
Provides basic support to Shipping/Receiving department as needed.
Understands the various parts and materials used at Magna-Power.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Performs in a safe manner at all times while adhering to the Company safety policies.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Verbal and written communication skills

High School

1-4 years

High school diploma or GED and at least 1-2 years related experience and/or training
Experience with computerized inventory, ERP/MRP systems
Ability to perform basic math, read and prepare packing slips and labels
Basic understanding of inventory control procedures
Ability to adapt to and work within a team environment
Must be detail oriented with the ability to follow instructions.
