Job Description

The Supply Chain Assistant is responsible for expediting, tracking and reporting on incoming supply chain purchase orders. Update purchase order arrival dates in computer database to maintain accurate information to communicate to the customers.


1. Provide superior phone and Footprint Support to all company departments. Track and expedite late arriving purchase orders
2. Open entry files, print documents, POs etc., match to invoices. Perform initial 10-day audits on International shipments and maintain files.
3. Liaison with Cycle Up, maintain accurate flow of international product to our domestic consolidator. Handle all reporting and communication for Supply Chain and the Distribution Centers. Review and approve invoices from the consolidation company.
4. Monitor markdown and discontinued product to expedite the movement from the DC's. Consolidate product between DCs, create transfers as needed.
5. Run and work the event planning report. Maintain the spreadsheets and post the current information in Supply Chain. Post the current data from Home Delivery daily.
6. Update purchase order arrival dates in Storis to maintain accurate information for the sales team to communicate to their customers.
7. Provide back up to the Supply Chain Purchase Order Assistant and Administrative assistant.
8. Track and expedite late arriving purchase orders as needed
9. Complete special projects as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager


1. Complete special projects as assigned by the Director of Purchasing
2. Back up the Supply Chain Administrative Assistant when out of the office. Primarily handle calls from sales team.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm


1.-High school diploma/GED
2.-One to two years' experience in an administrative support role
3.-Excellent administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail
4.-Strong computer skills to include Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. (experience in StoreNet is preferred); ability to learn new applications and programs
5.-Anticipates customer needs, acts with customers in mind, exceeds customers' expectations, gains customers' trust and respect, all with a professional, helpful and positive presence
6.-Ability to communicate effectively with dealers, sales team and other corporate personnel in person, by telephone, or through written communication
7.-Assimilate information and make decisions
8.-Work under pressure in a detailed, organized manner
9.-Ability to multitask in a deadline driven environment and prioritize duties on a daily basis
10.-Is action oriented, drives for results, acts decisively, solves problems, can be counted on to consistently meet or exceed goals
11.-Personal initiative. Must plan and organize work and follow up completely
12.-Dedication to teamwork and a willingness to assist all members of the department
13.-Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and procedure manuals
14.-Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure and compute percent, ratio, etc.
15.-Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, and reach with hands and arms.
