Job Description

Primary Function:
The Technical Sales Manager's key responsibilities include developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers to increase sales of the company's TPE products (TPV, TPO, SEBS and SBS). This position is a field sales role that requires close interaction with management, technology, manufacturing and customer service teams in order to service existing customers, build new relationships and develop new customers and programs.

Based in Gainesville, GA but this position will work from home and require at least 50% domestic travel. Initial training may be necessary at headquarter location in Turkey.

Developing new business prospects through cold-calling and other methods
Developing and implementing selling strategies with customers
Interacting with existing customers to increase sales of TPE products
Interfacing with management, technology, manufacturing and customer service personnel to service existing customers and develop new programs and customers
Forecasting sales volumes based on order rates and customer/application and market potential growth
Administration of pricing, quality issues and claims
Monitoring and reporting competitive activities
Prompt attention to administrative requirements including monthly reports, sales status and forecasts, inventory status, budgets, expense reports etc.
Ability to provide extrusion technical support to customers is a plus.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

5-7 years' experience selling TPE products, preferably TPEs
Motivated and results oriented focus
Familiar with standard sales strategies, processes and procedures
Extensive customer relations and interpersonal skills
Effectively uses knowledge, experience , situation analysis and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Excellent proactive communication and team building skills


4-7 years

Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Plastics Engineering required
Ability to work cross functionally to drive business solutions
Formal sales training experience is desirable
Home office based ? North East, South East or Mid-West
Ability to travel domestically at least 50% of his time
Proficient in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
