Job Description

The employee must provide technical support and maintenance to end users on various technical issues and problems relating to hardware, software, and peripherals. Utilize excellent problem solving skills to evaluate, diagnose, and resolve simple to complex problem situations, or when appropriate, escalate issues to appropriate IT staff members. Install and troubleshoot various software packages used within the corporate network. You might setup (or assist in setup) and troubleshoot workstations, printers, and other miscellaneous equipment used within the corporate network. May possibly handle updates and fixes as needed for internal user workstation administration using Group Policy, WSUS, and Active Directory.

Skills

You need to have advanced knowledge of PC software installations, printer hardware troubleshooting, and networking troubleshooting, as well as experience in MS Office and MS Windows desktop/server operating system installation, upgrading and troubleshooting.

Qualification

You must have High School Diploma or GED. 1-3 years of experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a corporate environment and/or technical training. You need an Associate or Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or equivalent training and experience.
