Job Description

A Bay City silicone manufacture is seeking a fill-in Office Assistant to assist with coverage while an employee is out on leave. This would be approximately 4-6 weeks and full-time while it lasts (8:00am-4:30pm Monday- Friday). Previous experience working in an office of a production plant is preferred but not required. Primary responsibilities would include answering phones, directing calls, entering orders into the system, and assisting in processing orders. Former experience working with Fed Ex or UPS in regards to shipment processing is strongly desired. Must be able to navigate computer systems that are used and be able to learn new software as needed. This position may be extended if both candidate and client are in agreement that it should continue past the estimated end date, and could ultimately lead to a hire with the client.

Working hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday

Previous experience working in and office setting is preferred as is a strong customer service background.
