Job Description

Spherion Staffing is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to work out of Fargo or Bismarck, ND.

The objective of this position is to manage sales of the company's water related products and services within an area of new and existing dealers in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Idaho.
Qualified applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ year's Sales experience, B2B strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

- Effectively manage all aspects of the dealer territory
- Expand dealer channels by prospecting the territory to: recruit, select, and train new dealers
- Provide excellent customer service to dealers by:
a. facilitating training on products, new sales promotions, our dealer book/pricing, and sales/marketing tools
b. Help assemble and maintain product displays and marketing aids for our dealer network
c. Assist dealers at boat shows with set up, tear down and retail sales support
- Provide information to management by recapping sales call activity; reporting business opportunities, results, trends and competitive information
- Achieve territory financial revenue objectives by helping new existing dealers manage growth
- Act as a steward of corporate systems policies, and procedures regarding coop, promotions, warranty, and sales, and adhere to company guidelines
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge about our waterfront products

Requirements:
-Bachelor Degree preferred or industry experience in lieu of
-5+ years Sales experience, B2B strongly preferred
-Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook
-Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess strong organizational skills
-Gain technical knowledge of company products and services, product distribution and sales methods. Should also be able to quickly grasp the natural flow of product's distribution from raw material manufacture, to the sale to a dealer or distributor
-Interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively and professionally communicate business ideas and concepts with a broad range of individuals including sales staff, engineering staff, production staff and logistics staff as well as dealer decision makers, dealer personnel and the general public
