Job Description

Summary:
Join one of the leading Insurance and Financial institutions in the country! Our client is looking for a Training Assistant for a 6 month assignment. This role supports the training for the analytics team on the AdvantEdge Analytics' which is a full suite of software tools and intelligence reporting will integrate and significantly expand the scale of data to help credit unions gain stronger member intelligence, accelerate analytics adoption and strengthen their market share.

They are working on putting together a training and onboarding plan for employees. There is some content already made, but there needs to be some depth added as well as updating the learning system to make this easier for employees to learn. There is no creation of actual content; it is more of an administrative training role.

This position will be creating job aids and reviewing materials, editing materials, and some modifications of the material that will be used by the main trainer. This individual's role is making sure the items are ready and available to be used by a trainer.


Responsibilities:
- Utilize Instructional System Design models (e.g. ADDIE) to produce relevant and targeted training, specializing in Analysis, Design, and Development.
- Gather information about learner needs, diagnoses learning and performance issues, choose and recommend appropriate solutions, and develop customer perspective.
- Create training in compliance with key processes, style guides, and templates; revise and maintain existing materials.
- Coordinate and deliver the solutions developed for the intended audience.
- Maintain open and streamlined communication with all staff involved in new initiatives and projects as related to training.


Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent experience in a training or education related field
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-performing team. Proven expertise in conducting learning and development needs assessments, solution design, development, implementation, and impact evaluation
- Demonstrate creativity, flexibility, efficiency and innovation in course design as applied to experiential learning, e-learning, activities, games, scenarios, role-plays, and the like
- Software expertise in Microsoft Office, Articulate Presenter, Storyline, Lectora, Adobe Suite and Captivate (or other similar development software such as InDesign)
