Job Description

Spherion Staffing is hiring a Universal Banker for our client in Ossian, IN!

Pay is $13/HR
Shift is Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 6:00PM
Some Saturday's required

Benefits once hired on.
Possibility of working remotely once training is completed.

Responsibilities:
Cash handling, accepting retail and/or commercial deposits, loan payments, and other checking
or savings transactions.
Maintaining an adequate cash drawer at all times; this includes buying and selling currency from
the vault as necessary.
Knowledge and assistance with electronic banking customer needs.
Mail and night deposits.
Cash advances, VISA Gift Cards, Cashier?s Checks, Money Orders, wrapping coin and currency.
Cross-selling Bank products both in person and via telephone.
Assist customers in opening of all types of deposit accounts.
Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.
Any other responsibilities designated by Teller Supervisor.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Skills:
Excellent customer service skills, attentiveness, information retention, tact and diplomacy in
dealing with customers and employees.
Mathematical skills, detail oriented, high degree of accuracy.
Punctual and dependable with strong communication and organizational skills,
Familiar with retail banking regulations and teller roles and responsibilities.

Education:
High School

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
High school diploma or greater.
Previous teller experience preferred but not required.
