Job Description

The Website Specialist is responsible daily updates of internal or external websites, and other public digital platforms. Ensures all systems are available for internet traffic and increases visibility and traffic across . Administers all technical aspects of website, including performance issues, such as speed of access. Monitor technical aspects that may need follow-up. Runs tests, revises, maintains, and controls content, look, and flow of websites. Applies knowledge of programming techniques and computer internet systems. The position involves the procurement, writing and posting of content to the website. Stays abreast of web technologies, researches trends of peer hospital sites in order to keep the site current, and collaborates on planning for future needs. Works closely with other marketing communications and PR staff. Under supervision, position will coordinate budget and collaborate data sharing with third party vendors. This position will report to the Website and Digital Marketing Supervisor.
Will be working remotely , but may need to travel onsite for meetings.

Update content of website and public digital platforms by gathering information and integrating data from other departments, assuring that all content complies with organizational standards and goals.
Percentage of time: 30%

Define key performance indicators and implement enterprise level measurement, analytics and reporting methods to gauge success.
Percentage of time: 15%

Work with outside agencies as needed to develop graphics consistent with ongoing marketing initiatives and share data
Percentage of time: 10%

Write, edit, proofread and upload content.
Percentage of time: 25%

Implement enterprise level measurement, analytics and reporting methods to gauge success. Present statistical data.
Percentage of time: 10%

Develop and present statistical data concerning website traffic usage to web advisory panel and management groups as appropriate.
Percentage of time: 5%

Work with Information Systems to ensure site is functioning properly and to correct any technical problems.
Percentage of time: 5%

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

Technical background with advanced computer skills, a solid understanding of ethical search engine optimization techniques. Experience with online monitoring and measurement platforms including but not limited to Google Analytics, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Facebook Insights, YouTube Insights.
Mac and Windows expertise. Demonstrated proficiency with web design and analytics software including, but not limited to, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Facebook Insights, YouTube Insights.. General knowledge of web services and XML.
Knowledge of graphic design best practices and principles for both print and web projects.


1-4 years

Minimum of 3-5 years professional web design experience.
Preferred: Non-profit and/or healthcare experience preferred.

Data, analytics, and metrics oriented. Ability to work effectively under deadlines and juggle several assignments simultaneously.
