Pay $15-17 DOE
Welder - entry level.
The Welder has primary responsibility is tig and mig welding of steel (also, stainless steel) parts. Each job must be run with safety, accuracy and timeliness in the welding area.
- Lays out, fits, and welds fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble parts
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that all welds meet quality assurance standards.
- Determines appropriate welds, per customer specifications and quality assurance standards.
- Efficiently and effectively manages time and resources.
- Provides insight to Leadman and Supervisors.
- Performs all tasks of Welder-Class B Craftsman with no assistance.
- Completes manufacturing documentation in a timely manner.
- Follows all safety guidelines as noted in Safety Manual.
- Assists all supervisors and performs other duties as needed and directed.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical
plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Knowledge of welding/grinding procedures.
- Knowledge to start with blueprints and build tank from start to finish.
- Ability to keep hand and arm steady while moving or holding arm and hand in one position.
- Ability to meet budgeted hours requirements.
- Ability to read cut sheets, blueprints, and tape measures.
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3-7 years related Welding experience
SCREENING REQUIREMENTS:
Able to pass a Drug Screen and Background check
