Job Description

Customer service for inbound callers requesting information/assitance for government health and social services programs. Long term - temporary position. Must have highspeed internet, your own equipment, and meet the device requirements. MUST RESIDE IN TEXAS.

Responds to customer phone inquiries in a prompt, courteous and concise manner. Provides callers with an unbiased information to assist customers with application and eligibility requirements. Accesses, reads, and interprets customers and provider data elements within customer's application. Performs accurately all data entry functions to reflect customer activity/transactions. Answers customer questions and assists in problem resolution. Assists customers in the enrollment process. Documents all customer encounters in clear and concise logs.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Background in health care, human services, or customer service. Knowledge of health and social services programs. Experience in data entry and call centers. Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse and disadvantaged populations in a courteous and effective manner. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously.

High School

1-4 years

Computer Literacy 70% and Typing 30+
Bilingual - English/Spanish
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Equipment Requirements:

Systems should be running a fully patched modern OS such as Windows 10 or Mac OS 10.14 (Mojave) or higher. Additional minimum specifications include:
Intel Core i5 Processor with 8GM memory
256GB hard drive
Windows 10 or other fully patched modern OS
1 USB Type C 3.1 Gen 2 port (for headset)
1 RJ-45 connection for wired network connection to router
Wired headset and microphone with a USB Gen 2 or newer connection
Video capability for Zoom calls
Internet Connectivity:
Wired internet connection from computer to router or modem
Download ? 20 Mbps minimum
Upload ? 5 Mbps minimum
