      • Assisting with packaging
      • final inspection and finished goods staging activities on assigned shift
      • Communication with different departments and assist when needed
      • Maintain shop floor organization by safe and efficient staging of material. Aisles must be kept open and free from congestion.
      • Truckers may do foot searches for castings or for potential staging locations.
      • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor
      • Inspect forklift daily and record on “Forklift Daily Operator Checklist”
      • Opens and closes containers
      • Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
      • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets
      • trays
      • racks and shelves by hand or by forklift
      • Counts
      • weighs and records number of units of materials moved or handled on inventory tags
      • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases
      • bales or other containers.
