Spherion Staffing is assisting our client, a manufacturing company, with their opening for a Maintenance Technician. Individual will be responsible for repairing production equipment, troubleshooting equipment problems and scheduled preventative maintenance for production equipment (weekly and monthly). We are looking for candidates with a 2 year tech degree or equivalent experience in a maintenance related field.

Pay $20+/hour DOE
2nd shift is 2:30PM - 10:30PM Monday - Friday
3rd shift is 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM Sunday - Thursday
Responsibilities:
-Perform preventative maintenance procedures on manufacturing equipment
-Changeover manufacturing equipment, reduce changeover time, machine downtime, and increase machine efficiency
-Document execution of maintenance activities as required in a timely and efficient manner
-Maintain all work areas in a clean organized fashion.
-Communicate in a timely manner when more parts are needed / filling out a purchase requisitions for the parts manager

Qualifications:
-A technical degree in automated manufacturing technology, electronics, diesel technology or related degree is required
-Need strong troubleshooting skills and have an understanding of pneumatics, industrial electrical, controls systems and mechanical processes
-Must also have excellent communication skills
-Prefer candidates who have experience with pneumatics (not hydraulics) are mechanically included and are good at troubleshooting
-Qualified candidates will also have good measuring skills and are able to read electrical schematics
