The position also, requires the ability to train lesser skilled operators and trainees in all aspects of safety, quality, and efficient machine operation. Adhere to all safety policies. Know and understand specific safety requirements for each piece of equipment. Wear appropriate safety equipment for each job assigned. Be able to instruct any assistant in the safety aspects of the job. Basic math/3 dimensional coordinates understanding. Meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals. Technical abilities to complete daily operator PMs, perform tool calibrations, etc. Can accurately measure work using tape measure and/or calipers. Understands quality parameters and specifications and performs high-quality work. Reads and understands detailed engineering specs and drawings. Completes schedules in order of priority Complete and comply with all quality initiative standards and directives. Qualified to safely operate, setup and program category I and II equipment.
