Responsibilities:
Refer to the blueprints provided for parts to be produced
Handle material and product within the saw area
Work with leads, techs, supervisors to stage materials for daily production through the saw area
Cycle count materials
Use scanning equipment to track material moves in the system
Perform daily maintenance on saws up to and including changing saw blades, scrap and chip removal, filling of coolant and coolant storage tanks
Organize tools, parts and instructions neatly and identify for ease of use
Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust or scale from work piece using a file, belt sander, hand grinder, or wire brush
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 3:00 PM

HSD or GED preferred but not required

Qualifications:
Industry experience is necessary
Strong mechanical aptitude
Must have at least a certificate and/ or equivalent work experience
Must be able to remain in a standing position for most of the time
Must be able to weld
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work in a production environment
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
Maintain a clean work environment
Provide feedback and report issues regarding blueprints and quality of parts produced
Use inspection equipment for quality assurance such as a tape measure, square, and calipers
