Various openings are available including on 1st (5:30am-4:00pm OR 6:00am - 4:30pm), 2nd (4:00pm-12:00am), and 3rd (9:30pm-8:00am) shifts! Ideal candidates should have previous welding experience. If candidates have completed a training or certification course in welding recently, they will also be considered as long as they are able to successfully complete a weld test as part of their interview process.

Responsibilities:
- Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately.
- Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage.
- Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications.
- Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools.
- Testing the strength of each join during and after project completion.
- Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting as required.
- Liaising with the line manager or supervisor, reporting any issues, and making suggestions for improvement.
Skills:
- Previous work experience welding (MIG especially).
- Blueprint reading experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50Lbs with regular stooping, twisting, walking, and handling welding equipment.
Qualifications:
- Previous welding experience or completion of a Welding training program/ certification.
- Must be able to read a ruler to 1/32".
- Must have reliable transportation in order to demonstrate a positive attendance record.
- Must comply with Spherion's Drug Free Workplace Policy and disclose relevant criminal history at the time of hire.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Completion of HSD/GED.
