Must be flexible for occasional Overtime.*You will also be eligible for a $500 attendance bonus earned over the first 90 daysPerform multiple jobs within the production area on automated and semi-automated equipment, in a fast paced automotive environment.2ND SHIFT: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PMResponsibilities:Work within the operator classification on all production lines and stations for job rotations.Removes flash from product, inspects visually for defects, weighs product and places it in cooling area.Perform Quality inspections and record dataWork in accordance with Work Instructions, Standard Work and Quality AlertsReport any equipment malfunctions, abnormal product quality or any process that is found to be out of specificationFollow standard reaction plan (labels, bins, etc.)Follow escalation processPerform tasks per instructions (i.e. error proofing on equipment)Complete required documents (shift logs, traceability, etc.)Perform first level preventative maintenance such as checking fluid levels, and gaugesKeep assigned area and equipment clean, safe and orderlyWorking hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PMSkills:Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arisesWork requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standingMust comply with all work rules, policies, procedures and work instructionsMust be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basisWork requires working under high and low temperatures at certain timesTeam OrientedStrong Communication SkillsAbility to work overtimeBackground/Drug Screen will be completedEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:High School diploma or GED is REQUIRED1 to 3 years of previous automotive manufacturing experience is PREFEREDKnowledge of lean production systems in manufacturing is a PLUSIntermediate Computer Skills are a PLUS Overtime as neededSpherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
