In this long term role, the Accounting Associate will be responsible for providing accounting support for the business.
Record business transactions and create daily worksheets to the general ledger system utilizing Excel spreadsheets.
Input vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records in an accurate manner.
Select the proper checks to be issued for accounts payable.
Keep record of charges and refunds in an organized manner.
Reconcile bank accounts and match invoices to work orders.
Arrange for money to be delivered to bank to ensure it will be delivered on time.
Assist with managing delinquent accounts as needed and managing the Purchase Order system.
Research, track, and resolve accounting problems such as statement research and unknown checks.
Assist with processing bills for payment, creating, compiling and sorting invoices
Creates daily worksheets to the general ledger system, ensures financial records are complete, accurate, and current.
Provides professional insight to ensure that accounting systems are efficient and effective.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Medical Billing background
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of related Accounts Payable experience
Solid skills in Microsoft applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word
Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Self-starter, accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
Experience in using QuickBooks accounting software is vital.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and maintain attention to detail to avoid all errors.
Must have effective communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
Strong Attendance and performance are necessary in order to succeed in this role.
