We are hiring Accounting Clerks for one of our valued clients that specializes in welding machines. The company has a global reach and is headquartered in Rockford. These positions were created due to an influx in business, company growth and the need to increase the staff in order to provide excellent customer service for their clients all across the globe.

*The Hourly pay rate during the program is between $20 to $22/hr based on experience
*This is a Temp-To-Hire Program that will be evaluated over the course of "only" 90-days
*The internal hiring decision will be determined either prior to the 90-days or "at" the 90-day mark
*Attendance during the program will be rated as job performance
*The company offers Flexible Working Hours!
*Monday thru Friday ranging from a 7am start time to 5pm working an 8-hour shift
*The Benefit Program will be reviewed during the conversion process
*Overtime will be paid for hours worked over 40 in the same work week during the program
*This is a lucrative, comprehensive benefit program!
Responsibilities:
The typical day for the Accounting Clerk will consist of performing invoicing, Cash applications, Collection, Projects that include Sale & Use Tax and Customer Vendor Account Updates. They will perform Purchasing responsibilities that include Order Entry, PO Confirmations, Open PO Reports, Parts Quotes, Projects and Ebay Inventory.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
*Previous experience leveraging Accounting software - (Great Plains preferred, but will train!)
*Intermediate proficiencies leveraging the Microsoft Office Suite - (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years

*Data Entry Skills
*Typing Skills
*Possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties when required
*There will be some software testing during the course of the interview process
*A background check is required
*A drug test is required
