This role often requires working collaboratively with others in the organization to provide detailed reports that include projections for profits and losses. Account analysts provide reports necessary for higher-level decision makers.
Provide accurate and data based information. Main focus on research and analyzing financial information to help company make well informed decisions, take on special projects and monitor financial movements in all aspects of the business.
Pay: $56,000 - $75,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and summarize data into spreadsheets that can be used to provide creative alternatives, recommendations and solutions to existing business opportunities
- Analyze accounting and financial data (budgets, projections/forecasts, income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, general ledger, etc.)
- Assist CFO in preparing detailed forecasts and tracking them against actual performance
- Assist departments with Key Performance Metrics (KPI) metrics tracking (working with new ERP system to ensure real time data is gathered and disseminated to each Manager in every department)
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance (income statement analysis)
- Take on special projects in the areas of: Insurance tracking, document retentions policies, and bank covenants tracking, among others
- Develop financial models (used in conducting benchmarking against industry and competitors (financial ratios and key performance indicators)
- Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions based on sound analysis
- Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about current events in the field
- Consult with management to guide and influence the long term and strategic decision making process
- Drive process and system improvements and policy development initiatives that impact the function and controls of the business
- Responsible for tracking monthly hours for employees (straight time, overtime and double-time), as well as temporary workers overtime.
- Provide bi-weekly reports to all managers, as well as evaluate and provide input into how to improve the bottom line to the business and effectively utilize our resources efficiently.
- Responsible for updating the cost models for both Perricone and Lambeth and providing quarterly models to the sales team
- Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Five years' of accounting and analysis experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Demonstrable ability to apply SFAS guidance
