Responsibilities:
Oversee entire payables process, including vendor set up, invoicing entering, and payments.
Manage vendor on-boarding procedures to ensure seamless communication between our internal teams and their vendors.
Oversee and maintain approvals for purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
Manage the complete accounts payable process including invoice coding, vendor payment terms, and payments (checks, wires, and ACH).
Monitor aging reports closely, identifying and resolving any issues preventing timely disbursements.
Resolve and communicate with vendors or employees regarding inquiries and discrepancies.
Maintain W9 and 1099 files for vendors and the timely mailing of 1099s at year-end.
Develop recommendations and streamline processes.
Maintain hands-on knowledge of all accounts payable-related functions in order to provide proper training, backup, and support.
Manage AP audit request and complete timely and accurately.
Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis, as necessary.
Hiring new staff as needed
Reviewing staff performance.
Covering or Arranging coverage during vacations/holidays.
Other duties as assigned
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Strong oral and written communication
Knowledge of retailer vendor compliance a plus
Detail oriented and organized
Experience with MS Dynamics SL a plus
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
5 + years Accounts Payable experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or a related field
Leadership experience.
Experience in the supply chain industry.
Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and ability to work in a faced past environment.
