The Accounts Payable (AP) Coordinator will work alongside vendors, procurement members, and various personnel to coordinate and process the payment for all invoices including expense reports, transportation and all other expenses for the day to day activities.

In addition, the AP Coordinator will perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records. Also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other personnel to ensure the accuracy of all Accounts Payable.
Responsibilities:
Receive vendor invoices.
Verify the invoice with proper packing slips and management approvals.
Code and enter invoices into accounting software.
Prepare Accounts Payable for processing on the 1st and 15th of each month.
Send accounts payable venders aging to COO daily.
Process checks for Collector payments daily.
Reconcile vendor statements with outstanding invoices.?
Send a daily check log to the Controller daily.
Assist Controller with monthly reporting and reconciliations.
Assist Controller with verification of Liquidation Connect payables.
Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Operate 10-key calculators, typewriters, and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents.
Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
Report any ideas for efficiency and continuous improvement to Supervisors.
Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations and standards.

Bachelors

1-4 years
Qualifications:
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Ability to use Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Good verbal and communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Organized and able to handle and prioritize multiple initiatives at once
Be professional and have a positive attitude
High School Diploma or GED required;
1-5 years of relevant work experience preferred;
Bachelor's degree in accounting or other relevant major preferred
