The advisor has spent over 35 years providing financial planning services to his clients, emphasizing comprehensive planning in partnership with non-profit organizations and within the special needs space. He is distinguished as holding particular knowledge of federal laws as they pertain to government benefit eligibility, legal documents such as special needs trusts and guardianships, as well as other financial considerations for providing quality lifetime care to those with special needs.
Shift and Pay:
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, $22-$25/hr
The advisor is frequently engaged as a speaker at parent support group meetings and state conferences with 60-80 speaking engagements per year, and he is nationally recognized in the area of special needs planning.
The ideal candidate will work alongside the advisor and his existing team to collaboratively meet clients' needs by providing support throughout the application process - from meeting preparation, to business submission, to placement and delivery.
The successful candidate will be personable, detail-oriented and proactive, tech savvy, able to multi-task and understands the importance of confidentiality. This position requires the ability to work well in both a self-directed manner and in a collaborative team environment while embracing the firm's core values.
Responsibilities:
Submit business applications and its process cycle
Support client requests and inquiries
Problem solve and support busy advisor throughout the practice
Additional administrative duties
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Team player and ability to adapt to change and other responsibilities
Ownership with time management, organization, and product knowledge
Attention to detail and effectively receive, interpret, and disseminates information accordingly through verbal or written communication
Proper grammar usage in communication with clients is of the utmost importance
Acts as a liaison for advisor with business partners and clients
Capable of completing multiple tasks and meeting established objectives and deadlines
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
2+ years of professional administrative experience
Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), CRM experience a plus
Excellent telephone, written, and interpersonal communication skills
College degree or comparable professional work history
Investment/FINRA registrations are a plus, but not required
