Responsibilities:
Greet and assist the public, answer questions, and provide information while coordinating with relevant departments.
Process applications for certificates of use, short-term and vacation rental registrations, and contractor licensing.
Maintain and organize files related to licenses and permits. Prepare related reports and correspondence.
Manage appointments, travel arrangements, and schedules.
Transcribe meeting minutes
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Associates Degree preferred
4+ years of experience in a complex administrative role preferred
Notary Public preferred
Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred but not required
Familiarity with Tyler Enterprise ERP a plus
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proficient in research techniques and resource identification.
Familiar with agenda preparation
Excellent command of English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Skilled in handling complex situations involving the public, including managing conflicts.
Ability to analyze administrative problems and recommend solutions.
Excellent decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant computer programs.
Flexible and able to handle changing priorities.
