A professional who puts together various products such as service equipment, reading detailed instructions to ensure products are created efficiently and correctly. In addition, they provide the maintenance of assembled equipment, analyze it, and ensure any issues are dealt with accordingly.
Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with hoists.
Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
Conducts quality control checks.
Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Great attention to detail and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small
No Degree Required
High school diploma or GED
Previous manufacturing experience
Various certifications, such as Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International certification in fabrication, coil processing, etc., or Association Connecting Electronics Industries certification in electronic assembly, soldering, etc.
