Responsibilities:
- Coordinate various presentations relating to Risk and Benefits.
- Answer any questions concerning Workers? Compensation, vehicle insurance, and
liability insurance and handle all related paperwork.
- Review all accidents involving personnel and/or property; process all related
paperwork; track any subsequent reimbursement from the Risk Management Fund and serve as ex-officio, non-voting Chairman of the Accident Review Committee.
- Ensure notification of the motor vehicle, and other accidents that result in death or serious injury.
- Maintain files of current insurance policies, vehicle crashes, and other risk related
issues.
- File Professional Liability claims
- Maintain files of injured employee reports, injured citizen reports, and Lost/Damaged/Stolen company property reports.
- Follow-up with supervisors when required paperwork is not submitted in a timely manner.
- Assist employees with instituting, maintaining and closing out all insurance paperwork.
- Become thoroughly knowledgeable of all aspects of Federal and Agency policies
and procedures and available employee benefits.
- Provide information and instruction to employees regarding these coverages
and benefits.
- Assist with the annual open enrollment process, health fair, etc..
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Sit/stand for moderate periods.
- See and hear at a normal range.
- Flexible, and good dexterity
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED, Associates Degree preferred
- Ability to type 35 CWPM.
- Working knowledge of clerical practices and office machines
- Be thoroughly knowledgeable of all aspects of Federal and Agency policies
and procedures in regards to Workers? Compensation
- Any combination of education and experience which provides the necessary
knowledge, skills, and abilities
