Access and research new information from the web as well as information related to development of vehicle data, service instructions and manuals Identify and procure vehicles for analysis, development and validation.Utilize automotive bus analyzers and diagnostic equipment to ensure the quality of productsUtilize knowledge of vehicle mechanical fundamentals in order to validate designsResearch and apply new technologies to improve the design process.
Two-year associates degree in automotive technology or equivalent training/experienceMinimum of 2 years previous experienceASE, IATN, or SAE certifications or affiliationsSkilled in the usage of automotive test equipmentModerate knowledge and experience using PC applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, etc.Basic knowledge of databases, MS AccessPC configuration and installation skillsBasic math knowledge such as number systems, basic algebraClear and effective communication skills to work well in a team environment.
