back end relief machine operator.

A top performing Back End Relief Machine Operator must have advanced mechanical skills, able to read, understand and comply with SOP's and have basic data entry and computer skills. The Back End Relief Machine Operator must be able to safely operate production forklift and maintain certification.

Responsibilities:
Assist in set-up and maintenance and operation of the flangers, beaders, light testers, spray machines, IBO's and palletizer.
Assist operators with can quality checks.
Operate Palletizer, Lacquer Spray Machines, and Back End equipment in the absence of other Back End Operators & Maintainers.
Perform quality checks in Lacquer Spray Machine area while Lacquer Spray Machine Operator performs daily cleaning of Lacquer Spray Machine machines.
Perform visual checks of cans to ensure entire process is in compliance and take appropriate measure to correct the process when deficiencies are found.
Complete required paperwork and documentation such as process check sheets, logbooks, and maintenance check sheets.
Assist in other areas as needed to maintain a smooth flow of cans through the plant.
Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and follow all safety procedures and work practices
Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Able to work independently or with a team.
Able to look at new solutions and think outside the box.

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Advanced mechanical skills.
Able to read, understand and comply with SOP???s.
Basic data entry and computer.
Able to safely operate production forklift and maintain certification.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of quality can specifications.


PAY: Day $20.09/HR
