· Prepare itemized statements, bills or invoices and record amounts due for services rendered.
· Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors.
· Keep records of invoices and support documents.
· Answer customer questions regarding problems with their accounts.
· Maintain positive customer relations in problem solving.
· Exhibit effective written and personal skills for handling customer phone inquiries, working with both print and electronic correspondence and assisting other team members, supervisors and upper management.
· Follow ups with drivers and customers on missing paperwork.
· Responsible for maintaining all billing functionality and keying on customer’s websites.
· Contributes to the team effort by recommending improved processes and prospecting ideas.
· Works well with others within the department and company.
· Involved in the setup/creation of the billing requirements with new customers.
· Perform other duties as requested.
· Transportation industry preferred but not required.
